When diving with Andaman Ocean Safaris please bear the following points in mind

We have our own boat and office reception in Chalong where you will be dropped off for a briefing & fitting before being transported down to the pier.

Water temperature in the Andaman sea is always around 28 degrees and hardly changes even through the monsoon season.

Some divers prefer to dive with no wetsuit due to the warm water, but due to fire weed in the water at times it is suggested that you wear the 3mm shorty wetsuit we offer.

We cannot let anybody dive without proper dive certification and you will be asked for this proof. PLEASE do not forget it, as we cannot let you dive without the necessary proof. If you do not have a card, we can check online for your credentials but a letter from an authorised dive centre where you did your course will be of some assistance.

Don’t worry about bringing unnecessary dive equipment with you, we have it all and if we do not have something special, we will endeavour to find it for you (save the weight in the bag for all your shopping that you will find irresistible on the island of Phuket).

We hire out 12MP cameras safe to 40 metres, as well as additional flash stems if you wish.

We offer a service where your dive instructor / dive master will be taking snaps of your underwater adventures with Whale Sharks etc. during the course of your dive. Once onboard, for a nominal fee, we will drop these onto a disc for your enjoyment when you get home.

Please bring lots of sun block, as even cloudy days have intense UV rays which are harmful to your skin.
